Dear Students and Parents,
Welcome to a brand new school year! There will be a few homework assignments this week before you receive your first official homework packet. Please make sure your child's name and number are on each sheet of paper returned to school.
Monday, August 24th (First Day!)
- Cover your reading book (paper or cloth covers please-no contact paper)
- Read and return signed parent letter from Mrs. Ferrari
- Parents complete forms in homework folder and return
Tuesday, August 25th
- Discuss the rules and policies in the Parent/Student Handbook together as a family. Return the signed "Verification of Awareness" sheet from the back of the handbook.
- Bring a picture that shows math for "Have you seen any good math lately?"
*BONUS: Bring a restaurant carry out menu for an in class math activity
Wednesday, August 26th
- Complete reading worksheet
Finish any cursive writing assignments not completed in class
Wear full uniform for Mass tomorrow. (Half Day-noon dismissal)
**Just a friendly reminder: School will now be dismissing at 2:40 on full days!
I hope you all had a wonderful summer and are excited to return to school for another year of learning! I am blessed to be your child's teacher this year and am excited about the successes we will achieve together!
